Once involved in gang activity that led to incarceration, he renounced that path while in prison, committed to self-education, and became a respected mentor, teaching conflict resolution and helping others choose peace over violence.
He specializes in mentoring urban men and boys, bridging the gap between communities and law enforcement, and developing innovative strategies for violence prevention, criminal justice reform, and successful reentry for formerly incarcerated individuals.
